HOW IT WORKS

Join our mission to create a SAFE SPACE for people living with skin conditions, like Atopic Dermatitis, Psoriasis, and Actinic Keratosis. Do you accept the challenge? Get recognized not only to enhance your skills but to open your salons door to those who suffered from stigmatization.

It’s more than a salon – It's a Sanctuary Salon to have a pleasant experience for your scalp. With Dr. Inna Hadshiew’s holistic approach, in consonance with hairdresser Dario Carusso, both are here to teach you how to Wow guests. You’ll learn how to recognize skin diseases and build careful experiences for those who have struggled to get them.

Information about the hair salon where the declarant provides at least 50% of their professional services:

I hereby declare responsibly the following:
  1. That I carry out at least 50% of my professional work at the hair salon or center indicated above.
    That the salon visibly displays the Distinction related to awareness of dermatological conditions, both in the physical establishment and on the salon?s website (if applicable).
  2. That I acknowledge the Distinction is granted based on the conditions established in the Program?s Terms and Conditions, and that it cannot be transferred to other professionals nor displayed in a different Hair Salon than the one specified.
  3. That in the event I leave the aforementioned establishment or there is a change in activity, I will proceed to remove the display of the Distinction.
    That I commit to carrying out my work in accordance with the professional standards of hairdressing services and in alignment with the level of awareness acquired through training.
  4. That I will refrain from making any dermatological diagnosis, limiting myself to suggesting a possible referral to a qualified healthcare professional.

This recognition is part of a training programme designed to educate hairdressers on how to  welcome and support clients with living with different skin conditions in a safe and appropriate way.. The course covers an understanding of common skin conditions, best practices for hair care in the context of sensitive or affected skin, and guidance on appropriate product use.

The course is specifically tailored for professional hairdressers who wish to expand their knowledge and skills to better support clients with scalp  conditions such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and actinic keratosis.

Becoming recognized helps strengthen your n professional profile and demonstrates your commitment to providing inclusive, informed care. It also supports your ability to welcome clients living with skin conditions with greater understanding and confidence.

To qualify for recognition, professional hairdressers must be part of an establishment where at least 50% of their professional activity is carried out  in Spain, Germany, or Italy. They must hold all required licenses and authorizations in accordance with applicable local laws; thave completed the Masterclass; and have passed the associated test with  a score of 80% or higher.

You will need a computer or tablet with internet access to view the course materials and participate in online activities. The platform is compatible with most modern web browsers.
