Farid Taha, new General Manager of Almirall in Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Barcelona, 1 July 2011. - Almirall, the international pharmaceutical company based in Spain, has announced the appointment of Farid Taha as new General Manager of Almirall Hermal, GmbH in Reinbek (Germany). Farid Taha will also be leading Almirall operations in Austria and Switzerland.

 

With this appointment Almirall reinforces the strategic importance of its operations in Europe as part of its objective to heighten international market share in the company’s total turnover. 

 

Farid Taha has over 25 years experience in the pharma industry. He joined Almirall in 2000 as Global Marketing Director, and in 2006 he was promoted to Senior Director Europe. He has been an integral part of the business, boosting its international expansion from 5 to 11, new affiliate offices, in addition to the Headquarters in Spain. Farid Taha’s solid leadership experience will be of invaluable benefit in enhancing Almirall’s position in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
