Carlos Gallardo, General Manager of Almirall in The United Kingdom and Ireland

Barcelona, 20 February 2008.- Almirall announces the appointment of Carlos Gallardo as General Manager of the United Kingdom and Ireland, the newly created affiliate in the outskirts of London. With this appointment Almirall consolidates its excellent international top management team.

Prior to his nomination, Carlos Gallardo held the position of Director Corporate Development Marketed Products, Mergers and Acquisitions in Almirall Headquarters. Previous responsibilities in Almirall include Head of Licensing and Head of Corporate Strategic Planning. Before joining Almirall in September 2004, Carlos worked as a Business Analyst for Pfizer based at its New York offices.

Carlos Gallardo has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an Industrial Engineering degree from the Polytechnic University of Catalunya.
