Almirall awarded the “zero rate” for accident frequency in 2009

• The pharmaceutical company has been awarded the COASHIQ award for reducing its accident rate to obtain a “zero” Frequency Rate in 2009 (zero accidents)

Barcelona – 8 September, 2010.- the Almirall fine chemistry business unit (Ranke Química, S.L.) has been recognised for reducing its accident rate to obtain a “zero rate” en 2009 for accident frequency by the Autonomous Commission for Safety and Hygiene at work in the Chemical and Related Industries (COASHIQ).

The diplomas were awarded during the COASHIQ assembly in Gerona by Jaume de Montserrat i Nonó, Deputy Director General for Occupational Safety and Health of the Department of Labour of the Regional Government of Catalonia and was collected by Víctor Molina, Director of Engineering, Safety and Environment in Almirall.
