Almirall appoints Eloi Crespo as new General Director Industrial Area

Barcelona, 22 February 2011.- Almirall confirms the appointment of Eloi Crespo as General Director Industrial Area to take over Carlos Blanquer’s position after more than 40 years of service in the company. Eloi Crespo reports to Luciano Conde, Chief Executive Operating Officer, and is a member of the Almirall Management Board.

Eloi, who joined the company in 1997, was previously Director of Purchasing until he took on the role of Deputy Director of the Industrial Area in January 2010.  He has a degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Barcelona and an MBA. The appointment of Eloi consolidates Almirall’s Industrial Area in meeting future challenges.
