Our commitment to our people

We prioritize the commitment to employees through comprehensive corporate wellbeing initiatives and a dedicated programme for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The latter aims to minimize the gender pay gap and enhance employee perceptions of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We also foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning, ensuring that our team is equipped to drive sustainable growth

Employee health, safety and wellbeing

This 12-week global challenge, supported by a social web app, allows working people to choose to walk, run, cycle or swim, accumulating "Almirómetros" (Almirometres) that are converted into money to donate to selected patient associations.

Diversity, equity & inclusion

Diversity has many facets, including race, ethnicity, gender identity, age, religious affiliation and sexual orientation. It also includes cultural backgrounds, experiences and physical abilities.

Talent management

We know that talent is central to maintaining and growing a thriving work environment. This is why we are dedicated to fostering excellence in this field. We achieve this through training and personal development programmes.

Every year, we assess the development and professional growth of our employees through our talent review process that incorporates succession planning for an optimal workforce balance across the business model.

We are dedicated to protecting, encouraging and investing in our people. We work hard to recruit and retain talented professionals who enrich our team and have signed collaboration agreements with leading universities and business schools to recruit top students.

We also programme hundreds of hours of employee training courses every year to invest in our staff and their future. In this way, we encourage a positive work environment based on personal and professional growth in different disciplines, equal opportunities and mutual respect. In recognition of our efforts, independent HR assessor CRF Institute has ranked Almirall as a ‘Top Employer' every year since 2008.
